OVEN-BAKED PANCAKE
1 egg
1 egg white
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 Tablespoons sugar
Pinch salt
1 Tablespoon. butter
1/4 cup sliced strawberries
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk the egg and egg white until foamy.
3. Add the flour, milk, sugar and salt and whisk until mixed. Let sit for 2 minutes.
4.. Put a square pan (8” x 8”) in the hot oven and leave the pan in the oven 5 minutes.
5, Oven oven door and put the butter into the pan. Close oven and melt butter for 2 minutes.
6. Carefully remove the pan and set on a cooling rack. Tilt pan to have butter cover the bottom. Pour the batter over the melted butter. DO NOT MIX IT TOGETHER.
7. Put strawberries in middle of pancake (not on edges.)
8.. Put pan bake in oven and bake at 425 degrees for 13-18 minutes or until browned and puffed.
9. Remove pan and put on a cooling rack. Cut into 3 sections and serve the pancake with syrup.
